I've posted on several times today: http://Icreate-Iam.blogspot.com
Check it out and tell me what you think---over there, please!
Good idea--or not...
I hope you'll join us for the Sunshine Mail challenge which starts today-RED, PINK, and WHITE...just in time for Valentine's Day! This challenge will run thru Feb 14th. In order to be eligible you must send your card to The Sunshine Mail Foundation.
For this challenge, we were given some fabulous stamps by
RED RUBBER STAMPS!
This little cutie comes from the Furry Friends set. You can find it HERE!
I love these little guys so naturally, had to use some of the other images in the set:
..and another
The sentiments are included in the set. I used Copics to color all the images. For the top two cards, I used a Martha Stewart DP pack that's been in my Valentine stash for a couple of years. These cards are quick and easy to make. I hope they will brighten somebody's day.
It's time to get a package in the mail to Sunshine Mail! It's such a little thing, but I have to admit, it makes me feel good to put that package in the mail knowing it will bring some much needed Sunshine to someone that sure can use it.
To learn more about this organization, to join in the fun, please check out the BLOG!
Other challenges I plan to enter:
Brown Sugar - W - Challenge #26, Valentines
Cuttin and Stampin - W - #2, Hearts or Love
Delicious Doodles - W - #20, All You Need is Love
I'm LATE! Where is my brain?! I think I lost it under the massive new sofas that occupy our family room!
This week's Sassy Cheryl's Challenge is Thinlkin' Pink and while I've used a lot of different colors in my image, I do have that PINK background, so it works...I think, but then, remember, my brain is missing!
I've colored this dynamic duo with my beloved Copics. The DP is Martha Stewart-in my stash along with all the embellies... I'm really trying to use what I have so haven't done any crafty shopping. Okay, you got me...I guess digis count! But other than that, no new papers 'en such!
In any case, I do hope you will join us this week for the Sassy Cheryl's Thinkin' Pink challenge! I'm thinkin' Valentine's Day!
In A Word...
So, this is what I'm working on-actually just finished- a In A Word book for a very special lady celebrating a milestone birthday.
I've recently been invited to join a monthly luncheon group-all ladies of varying ages. Our senior member shall soon turn 90-cause for celebration! Each member of the group was asked to describe this special lady in just ONE word and then write a few lines explaining why that was the word of choice. What I find wonderful is that there were no duplications!
Here's a peek---just a few pages!
What are you working on this week? Be sure to show us at Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday. Oh, and do check out what Cheryl is up to-totally loving her new blog, "Illustrations by Cheryl".
MY FAVORITE KIND OF WEATHER...
This week's SASSY CHERYL'S challenge-a birthday card. When I saw this little cutie, well, she fell right into my shopping cart! I cut out the window so I could "install" wallpaper in her house and colored her with Copics.
Sassy Cheryl is now posting daily on her blog, Illustrated by Cheryl. Cheryl shares her thoughts, her process, her sketches, and has even posted videos showing how she colors her images.
I hope you'll join us this week for the challenge---you may be the lucky winner of two Sassy Cheryl images. Cheryl has been mighty busy lately turning out some of the cutest images yet!
