Sassy Cheryl is quite sweet as well as Sassy. Her friend and fellow artist, Isabella, set up a group over at Paper Crafty Planet and Cheryl invited her followers to go check out Isabella's work. Isabella appeals to those of us who love vintage and very classic images-a whole different feel then Cheryl's images. I feel in love with this image---and the story behind it:
I used some Susan Branch paper that has been in stash for many years-in fact, I think I may have bought it went I meet Susan at a local shop when I lived on Cape-may have been around 2000! Anyway, it had the feel I was going for. The little flowers were a Michaels purchase-I'm regretting not having gotten more of these dear little rosebuds! The punch at the bottom and stamp are from Stampin' Up. I did a bit of stitching, put on a ribbon and bow...
...and here's another. This one was actually a freebie to the members of Isabella's group over at PCP celebrating 50 members. She gave us a preview before she reached that milestone and I, for one, anxiously awaited the 50th member! This on is called Waiting-love the little girl's dress. I made a pinafore exactly like this for my daughter, Kristin, when she was little. I am so into classic clothing for children and so saddened by the trend to dress little ones like teenagers---I really do not understand!
Yup. another artist to peek in on...you can go to her store HERE.
Both cards are totally gorgeous. I love your coloring and the yummy colors you chose.
