Have you ever been a part of something that makes you really happy, something that excites you, something you love and want to share? This design team experience is just such a thing. I pinch myself everyday-surly these artists didn't choose me---how did I get so lucky?!
I am a member of Sassy Cheryl's Design Team-thank you, Lord!
What a wonderful opportunity-all these lovely images to play with! These images are like sunshine for my soul!
This week's challenge proved to be somewhat of a stumbling block for me...a color challenge which really isn't all that hard, but I just couldn't come up with something to do with green, orange, BLACK, and glitter-I thought, Halloween so I actually colored the Witch and frog image. I haven't posted it here because I have yet to make it into a card.
I printed off about a dozen images last night and colored away, but first I flipped through reams of paper hoping to find something that would work for this color challenge---and there it was thanks to my BFF's recent paper purge-I was the benefactor of her serious organization. WooHoo! Not only did she give me these papers, but she gave me the glitter, too! Good thing, as I was glitter challenged until very recently. This glitter and bling trend came after my shopping frenzy of '06, and since I live quite a distance from supplies and have little $ to invest-well, this was a stroke of serious luck.
Now one of these images,
just struck my fancy-GREEN, yup, oh, and I could "dress" the little girl in ORANGE-seriously in color this spring, and BLACK, well, the little shoes. the dots in the striped paper, a few brads, a button...that works and then a splash of GLITTER to highlight the turtle's shell!
Come join us this week for another terrific challenge.

WoWzA, this is fabulous, Ann! Such a "WoW" factor with this beauty ... and so beautifully colored. I would give my left arm to color like this! I'm right-handed so it's not a HUGE sacrifice, lolol ...
I have to ask though, on to what kind of white paper do you print out your digi's? I'm experimenting and so far, not having much luck. And my color printer doesn't like heavy card stock ... any tips, ideas, or suggestions?!?
Hope your weather is improved and that all is well in your craftin' corner of the world!!

Well, your 'luck' certainly paid off. It's a fantastic card Ann. I love the story of the tortoise and the hare and even though the tortoise is sporting a 'chick' the sentiment still fits.
Great job!
